Why is Ferdinand Magellans voyage considered a turning point in world history
Answer:
Ferdinand Magellans voyage is considered as a turning point in world history because it was the first expedition to travel the world around. The journey began in 1519 and lasted for three years until 1522. The aim was to find "Spice Islands" (in Indonesia), travelling from Atlantic Ocean and crossing the Pacific for the first time ever. Magellan died in a Battle of Mactan, so he didn't make it to the end of his journey, but his crew did it by circumnavigation of Earth.
